Irish National Country
Fair
The
all-new Irish National Country Fair will be staged at
Ballinlough Castle in County Westmeath over the weekend
of 18 & 19 July 2009. This truly Irish setting is
the home of the Nugent family who are working with the
event organisers to ensure this becomes the
premier country fair in the Irish Republic.
With fourteen year
experience running the hugely successful National
Countrysports Fair in Northern Ireland, Bill Beckett and
Derek Lutton have teamed up with the Countryside
Alliance Ireland to stage what promises to be another
successful Irish country sports event.
Just an hour's drive
from Newry and Dublin, Ballinlough Castle is in the centre of
Ireland's new road network linking it to all parts of
the country. The venue has been used for concerts
and festivals in the past and its internal system of
roads, lawns and paved areas make it a most suitable
location for this new country fair.
With visitor car
parking located just a five minute walk from the centre
of the country fair, visitors are assured easy parking
and a pleasurable stroll to the fair through mature,
Irish parkland.
