Countryside Alliance Ireland

Organisers of the National Country Fair at Borris House are delighted to welcome Countryside Alliance Ireland (CAI) once again as a major exhibitor at the 2013 fair.  The Association has been involved with the National Country Fair since its inception and is an integral part of the event in Co. Carlow.    CAI Chief Executive, Lyall Plant said "Our vision is of a vital, working and thriving countryside for the benefit of the whole nation. We work for everyone who loves the countryside and the rural way of life.  Through campaigning, lobbying, publicity and education we influence legislation and public policy that impacts on the countryside, rural people and their activities.  The National Country Fair is the perfect forum for CAI to meet and engage with our members and supporters."   There are many advantages to being a member of Countryside Alliance Ireland, but one of the key benefits of membership is the insurance cover provided within the membership subscription.  The insurance package provides Personal Accident cover and Employers', Public and Products Liability cover for eligible members whilst participating in a range of specific country pursuits that are defined as "recognised activities".     The Countryside Alliance Ireland at Borris House  The Countryside Alliance Ireland involvement at the Fair will again be significant in 2013 and will cover all their major areas of work including shooting, hunting, stalking and angling. Reduced price entry is available for CAI members by booking tickets through the CAI Regional Offices.    Contacts details are 01690 3610 for R of I members and 028 9263 9911 for NI Members. Exhibiting alongside CAI in their marquee will be The Wild Deer Association of Ireland, The Irish Red Grouse Association & Walter Phelan from the Irish Fly Fishing and Game Shooting Museum.  The CAI stand will be located alongside the show's main arena which is the centrepiece of this two day event at Borris House.
