Alliance Ireland at the NCF
Organisers of the Irish National
Country Fair are delighted to welcome the Countryside
Alliance Ireland (CAI) once again as a major partner in
the 2010 event at Ballinlough Castle. CAI
Director, Lyall Plant said "Our
vision is of a vital, working and thriving countryside
for the benefit of the whole nation. We work for
everyone who loves the countryside and the rural way of
life. Through campaigning, lobbying, publicity and
education we influence legislation and public policy
that impacts on the countryside, rural people and their
activities." The National Country Fair at Ballinlough is
the perfect national forum for the CAI.

participating in a range of specific country pursuits

CAI National Forum at
Ballinlough Castle
The CAI will be responsible
for organising a range events at Ballinlough
Castle and will be sponsoring a number of
classes and competitions for their members.

Designated as the CAI's
National Event in Ireland, the organisation's
involvement at Ballinlough
Castle will be
significant and will cover all its major areas
of work including shooting, stalking and angling,
equestrian, hunting, coursing and terriers.
In the CAI
marquee will be the Irish Deer Society available
for trophy measuring, the Wild Deer Alliance
will be there promoting HCAP and the National
Association Sporting Pistol Rifle Clubs will
also be represented.
